What should I wear?
We love the elegant clothes of the 1920’s and ‘30’s and feel that dressing in the style of the period adds to the experience of playing Hickory Golf. While it is in no way compulsory, we think you’ll look great and have a lot more fun if you do. Beautiful traditional clothing which is made in the UK can be obtained from www.oldfieldclothing.co.uk

What happens if I break a club?
This happens less often than you might think. Remember these clubs were made many years ago by professional clubmakers and are remarkably strong. If a club breaks, its at our risk. All we ask is that you bring back both parts of the club as the head can be re-shafted, and the grip reused.

What golf balls should I use?
Soft balls like Callaway Supersoft or similar are kinder to the clubs.

Do you have left handed clubs?
Yes, we have 6 sets of left handed hickory clubs. 

Do I need to be a good golfer to play hickory?
No! Anybody can play hickory golf. You will feel less pressure to play 'well' and will soon discover your smooth hickory swing. You will be surprised and delighted by the shots you are able to hit.
