There are few feelings in life to compare with the thrill of a well struck hickory golf shot and we would love to share that thrill with you.
Many people expect Hickory golf to be difficult but are delighted to find they can play happily with these living antiques. Being made of wood, no two shafts are identical. Hickory tends to flex and torque more than steel. As a result your smooth, easy swing will be rewarded.
Many players think that the wooden shafts will break easily.  Most of our clubs still have their original shafts; these clubs were made by master craftsmen and are as strong today as they ever were.

Hickory clubs have names not numbers; Brassies, Spoons, Mashies, Cleeks and Niblicks; all names synonymous with the rich heritage of the game of golf. Each of these clubs is versatile and you will learn their qualities during your round. As a result, you only need to carry 6 clubs in a small leather and canvas pencil bag, leaving you free to enjoy your surroundings and the company of your companions.
It is hard to describe but there is a uniquely liberating feel to playing Hickory golf. All pressure of expectation is suspended leaving you free to enjoy playing the game.
